On May 19, 2025, our English teacher, Professor Baumgartner, organized a special class lesson for 3AK. We had the pleasure of welcoming English author Carla E. Basset, who conducted a workshop titled “Beyond the Code: Unravelling AI’s Impact.”
During the session, Ms. Basset delivered a comprehensive presentation on the effects of artificial intelligence on society. She explored various aspects of AI, including its influence on education, employment, and daily life. Her interest in this subject stems from her authorship of books titled “Sun: The Rising Hope“ focusing on AI and its societal implications.
The workshop was both informative and interactive. We engaged in discussions, shared our perspectives, and posed questions, all conducted in English. This experience not only enhanced our understanding of AI but also provided an opportunity to practice our English communication skills.
